International work of Initiativ
Liewensufank
Initiativ Liewensufank is active
in international fora to improve birthing conditions and to
promote, protect and support breastfeeding. Maryse Arendt
was selected and appointed by ILCA, the International Lactation
Consultant Association, to serve as their liaison to the World
Health Organisation in Geneva. In this capacity she attends
the Executive board of the World Health Association in January
and the World Health Association in May every year. She can
address the audience on topics of interest related to the
promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding.
