
Suitable for women from six weeks after giving birth, with their babies, up to crawling age.
Yoga focuses on appreciating the body after childbirth and relaxing the mind.
Pregnancy (the weight of the baby), childbirth (physically and psychologically), and breastfeeding (opening up) change a woman’s body, particularly the pelvic floor. Giving birth and life with a newborn are new challenges. Especially during this special time, it is important not to always put our own needs last. Yoga allows us to take a deep breath, regain strength, find our own centre again, and bring body and mind into harmony.
The exercises are simple and adapted to address our bodies while also strengthening the pelvic floor and core muscles after childbirth.
Strengthening the pelvic floor also reinforces one’s role as a woman.
Good to know:
- Your baby is, of course, welcome!
- Practising on a full stomach is not ideal. If necessary, have only a light snack before the class.
- Please wear comfortable clothing.
